Hi Sponsor Teachers and club leaders,

We have heard that quite a number of people are concerned that not many people would be willing to stay afterschool until 4:00pm for a shoot.  Thus, we have decided to make it more convenient for everybody and have both shoots everyday start IMMEDIATELY AFTERSCHOOL.  I understand that this provides less flexibility for those in more than one club and who want to appear in two photos that may be shot at the same time, but I believe that shooting both photos immediately afterschool will be a lot more convenient for all and that more people will be likely to stay and show up.

Here is a short recap of who is going to be shot when/where:

Monday, 20th:
Art, Knitting and Manga in D204
Chess and Library in the Library

Wednesday, 22nd:
Badminton, Dragon boating and Tennis in the Gym
Animal Rights, Key and Basic in the Gym

Monday, 27th:
Recycling, Garden and Food for Thought outside by the tennis courts
Travel, Peer tutoring and Budgetless Production (aka Movie) outside by the tennis courts

Tuesday, 28th:
THINK, Global Issues and Health in D204
Student Council, Debate and Physics Innovation in D204

PLEASE remind your club members to arrive on time and don't forget to BRING A FEW PROPS!  Remember, we will be creating a scene with each photo!

Also, we would like for each one of you to send in a list of the members' names in your club for the clubs index.  We want to recognize each member for being in that club, not just the ones who are in the photo.  Please send in the list of your club members by Wednesday the 22nd so that we may have enough time to put this into the index.

Thank you all for your cooperation and patience.  I understand that these frequent changes have caused much confusion and anxiety over the last few weeks.  Thank you for bearing with us, and I look forward to seeing you all starting next week.

Hi Sponsor Teachers and Club leaders,


After much discussion, we have changed one of the dates for the shoots.  We will be shooting on the 20th, the 22nd, 27th, and 28th, afterschool at various locations.  We have decided to shoot on the 22nd instead of the 21st as the musical cast only has to be at school by 6pm on Wednesday.


Clubs have been roughly sorted by interest into 8 groups for the index.  There will be 2-3 clubs in each group and we will shoot 2 groups each day.  This format allows for people to be present for more shoots if they are in more than one club.


On the Monday the 20th, we will be shooting:
1. Chess and Library in the Library at 3:30pm
2. Art, Knitting and Manga in the Art classroom (D204) at 4:00pm


On Wednesday, the 22nd, we will be shooting:
3. Badminton, Dragon Boating, and Tennis in the Gym at 3:30pm
4. Animal Rights, Key, and Basic in the Gym at 4:00pm


On Monday, the 27th, we will be shooting:
5. Recycling, Garden and Food for Thought outside by the tennis courts at 3:30pm
6. Travel, Peer Tutoring, Budgetless Production (aka Movie) outside by the tennis courts at 4:00pm


On Tuesday, the 28th, we will be shooting:

PLEASE HAVE ALL YOUR MEMBERS PRESENT AT THE TIME AND PLACE INDICATED.  IF YOUR CLUB IS TO BE SHOT AT 4, PLEASE ASK YOUR MEMBERS TO ARRIVE 10 MINUTES BEFOREHAND.


PLEASE BRING A FEW PROPS that represents your club.  These are a few examples: a chess set, garden tools, a racket, some novels and etc.  This clubs index shot will not be the usual sort where everyone stands in rows and looks serious.  We hope to create a "scene" with club members interacting with members from their own clubs and members from other clubs.

Sorry for sending out the previous email before the details were finalised.  There has been quite a large change and the clubs index will now be comprised of EIGHT photos.  The shoot for the 21st is tentative, as we will likely schedule some shoots on different days.  Nonetheless, please pencil in 3:30 on the 21st at the gym in your agendas.

Please keep checking your email for updates.  Don't forget to think of a prop to bring!

POTENTIAL CLUB EVENT?!

I was contacted by people from leadership class during the third block on Thursday~

Apparently, they are going to make a very quick video around the school for all of the clubs at pw.

The people who are in charge asked me very politely to make everyone dress in COSPLAY!!!! on that particular day.

I will discuss this on our next meeting after I discuss more thoroughly with the leadership people:)

Club Day!!!

Greeting to every club member!

Today we have a great success in recruiting members to the club. Thanks to Ken Ma for helping out on club day without having any lunch. Our first meeting will be on next Thursday, Sep. 29, in D202. I will try my best to inform everyone through e-mail and PA announcement. Currently, I have Adrienne Lee working diligently on our members list. I will sent everyone an e-mail as soon as I get an organized list of e-mails. I will also need to get more information about making a PA announcement through school office and Mrs. Kid on Monday. We will try our best to keep you in touch!
