BLUE - Story (Spoiler)

Trauma Quantum Crystal is a nice dramatic action manga. It contains series of humorous scenes when the main character, Tokitou, undergoes numerous dilemmas. Tokitou is one of my favourable character who expresses the quality of man when the time stopped. Aoki introduced the characters by the following abnormal events. From time stop to monstrous creatures,  the series of supernatural events lead present of the character called Sakazaki. Her character and personality is somehow odd in the way that she is continuously convincing Tokitou to believe her. Because of the receptive of the word "Trust", it made me to doubt her.

It sure was something to when the quantum crystal watch was introduced. It has special ability to transform into a powerful weapon that may has the ability to change time. Just how powerful are those weapons that can kill a gigantic creature coming from nowhere!

Overall, I think the art was well drawn and the story was very creative, especially the Tokitou's action from the first few pages. The hook of the story is created with the involvement of these interesting characters. Most thought-provoking words that were written on the cover is "We are the ultimate abnormal humans!" Latter on in the series, we can probably find some kind of connection between these characters. What is does it means by "abnormal humans"? What is going to happen next?!

BLUE - Story (Spoiler)

Here we come to the end of the arguably the biggest M of manga history! MM! manga series have also be known as Emu Emu! by other popular manga sources. The manga describes the story of the main character called Sado Tarou is trying to get rid of the "problem"with his body. The story is highly humorous and ecchi. It entertains people with the Sado's ultimate Mness. In the end when Sado overcame his "problem" by losing his memories; however, it led to our dissatisfaction which perhaps result in the end of the manga. The final twist of its fantastic ending is with Sado's Mness return. The story suddenly fall into its proper place and everything is quickly sum up. Matsuno created a happy ending that most people will hopefully enjoy.

I enjoyed the technique used by Masuno by using the sudden twist. It was quite entertaining once it is present with the return of our beloved Big M! Overall, I think the story made an excellent example of the both irony and twist. The storyline is also quite acceptable unlike the other manga just went without explanation and clarity. I highly recommend the manga once the english translation is out.

HOPE YOU WILL APPRECIATE OUR TRANSLATED SPOILER BELOW.

Akame ga Kiru! Impression

Alternative Titles

English: Akame ga Kiru!
Japanese: アカメが斬る!

Genres:

Action, Adventure, Fantasy

Authors:

Tashiro, Tetsuya (Art), Takahiro (Story)

Chapter Rating:

 ★★★★★☆

Akame ga Kiru! is one of the my favourite action manga. The fights are intense and the speeches are humorous. The story plot line of Akame ga Kiru! is placed in the setting of the medieval ages when people use physical arm combat attack instead of technological military attack; however, this manga defies   it all. You can almost see all kinds of weaponries, including swords, guns, and even claws. On the other hand, the story even makes it more interesting by using the involvements and connections of the characters.

The story started with a young lad named Tatsumi proven his beastieness by killing an Earth Dragon, and like many others he fantasizes himself to become famous in the Capital. Unfortunately, with his childishness he managed to get himself kicked out of the military enlist building and rubbed by a friendly thief. We for sure had a good laugh in the way how easy he screwed things up and got tricked.

Interesting Quote: "You'll learn a lot from your meeting with me, young lad!"

Latter on he was rescued by an extremely cute girl called Aria. With her cuteness and richness, she could probably seduce any man in the world. She was seemed as a kind hearted person in the Capital, and her parents were very friendly toward the visitors her brought in. On the following day, the guards mentioned the corruption and the massive assassination in capital. It kept Tatsumi on guard. With the foreshadowing,  we may even allude to something that might be happening in the following events.

During night on second day in the capital, the Night Raid, assassination group, showed up! With the attack of the right raid, Tatsumi was quickly overwhelmed; however, Tatsumi had proven his combat skill, and this attracted their attention!

After the the truth of Aria family's secret was revealed, Tatsumi found his old friends were captured and tortured to the edge of death. Tatsumi showed his determination to kill by killing Aria himself, and his true emotions to face the death of his old friend. Night Raid oversaw this occurance and decided to get Tatsumi into the assassination trade!

"Here we are! The Sakurako Ji Mansion!"

Sakura's identity was reveal to be the daughter of Kizakura Faction leader! I believed it was an incomprehensible shock to everyone. It was hard to believe that someone who has such strong sense of justice is ironically the daughter of illegal organization's chairman; however, We can sense the well-spread relationship of Sakura's family. In my opinion, the family really does seem have a strong and vibrant relationship.

When we met Sakura's parents, I believed most of us were shocked. The father is a fragile man and the mother looks like an ordinary school girl. This raised my jealously of the man in house of having such a cute wife and power in the area. The Sakura's family is a well bonded, and all of us can see the untold love between them.

Another surprising fact that we latter found out was during the sudden attempt assassination of Sakura. Ogami proved himself to be an excellent swordsman. Even though he called it a hobby, he performed a good show with his ability lost.

In the end of the chapter, we found Heika-sempai was standing a looking at Sakurako Ji Mansion.

"The One who is targeting Sakura is Heika-sempai? What is his goal and purpose!? With his fearless case invites more enigma….!!"

Area D - Inou Ryouiki Impression

Alternative Title:

English - Area D, Area D - Inouryouiki, Area D - Inoyouiki, AreaD
Japanese/Chinese - AREAD異能領域

Author:

Yang, Kyung-II (Art), Nanatsuki, Kyoichi (Story)

Genres:

 Action, Shounen, Super Power, Supernatural

Chapter Rating:

★★★★★★

After reading the first chapter of Area D, I found it strongly resemble the mange called Defense Devil. With luck, I found the manga on myanimelist.com, and surprisingly they were both drawn by the same author, Kyung-II Yang. His well-known contribution to other mangas also includes Akuma Bengoshi Kukabara,Let's Bible, The Legend of Soma, and Zombie Hunter. Without a doubt his drawing skills has improved over the years. In the beginning of Area D's colour pages, I was "stucked". I couldn't resist stop reading it. I even forgot to read the manga that was drawn by my friend who was sitting just beside me. There was an awkward silence of understanding. You may even called it an obsession.

Not only the art was great, but also the story was outstanding. It connected the emotional feelings and the involvement of the other characters. The desperation the innocent people becoming prisoners and the hope that was destroyed were well portrayed, especially with the character called Satoru Ida-kun. The was no escape, but to follow the absolute dictatorship of the military's guidelines and rules.

This manga is about the mutation of people's bodies when the Antares, Scorpius, went supernova. People began to turn into fearsome beasts with incomprehensible super power that turned the entire city into catastrophe. In most cases, people who mutated gained superb abilities. These people were latter named Altered. The scientifically-explainable astronomical phenomenon, rare occurrence, opened the beginning of the story.

After 12 years the incident of Scorpius explosion, we found the main character, Satoru, was captured as an Altered. He was apparently going to be sent off to an unknown place on a military ship. As the Captain Kurosaki of prisoner ship 303 described, they were all going to be sent to an Island of Dream called Island D. However, it was latter to be pointed out that D actually stands for death. Satoru's expressions were extremely awesome. The face of hope turned into the face of desperation. It isn't a very easy skill to have even with years of training.

Nanatsuki also left out the information of S-Rank prisoner. It foreshadowed the events that will going to lead the story. The involvement made me extremely curious and wonder what will going to happen, and how will Satoru make the connection. It dragged me into the vicious cycle of wondering the sequence of mysteries.

Ironicall,y Satoru's ability was introduced while he was bullied. He had the power to dismantle any physically items into pieces of components. I personally think it would be an pretty awesome ability to have if he could use it as a weapon to against others. If he get use to his ability, he might be able to stand up for himself. Unfortunately, his ability made the leader of the bullying group turned on him. As Satoru was escaping, he encountered Rio who offer him suggestion of opening the S-Rank prisoner's cell. Despite of the fights and abilities, the most interesting facts that I found was that Rio was NAKED!

When Satoru finally approached his end, his precious item that was from his mother was destroyed. It also ironically turned Satoru in ager to fight his rival; however, he didn't stand a chance. I found it odd because  usually something happens when the character began to fight for a reason or something important. I guess Nanatsuki intended to show the reality of strength. Nevertheless, Satoru eventually succeeded in freeing the S-Ranked prison, Jin. Oddly, I think he has the ability to copy the other's ability because he used the same ability as the leader of the bullying group.

This manga was fairly interesting when I was reading it. I highly recommend buying the first volume of the manga when it release it.

Thank you for reading the review!
